I had visited Chennai last month for business purposes and stayed at the Lemon Tree Hotel for a couple of days. I selected this hotel since it is close to the business districts in Chennai and I could travel quickly for meetings etc. I came across the Lemon Tree Hotel when I was browsing the internet for good hotels in Guindy, Chennai and was lucky to find the best.
The staff was very co-operative and helpful right from the reception to the room service which, I think is the sign of a top hotel. The property is a large one as there are more than 100 rooms. My room was the Superior Room and since I was alone the room was enough with its standard size. Since wi-fi was provided, I could receive and send emails without any issue on the workstation provided. Amongst the hotels near Tidel Park, the Lemon Tree offered me the best rates and total comfort which was another reason for my choice. Though I could not use the swimming pool due to time constraints, it sure looked inviting for a dip.
The Slounge is a nice place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink without too much of crowd bothering you and I was able to call a client to join me there too. The service at this place is fast and prompt. I must recommend the Citrus Café for a well-laid out lunch and dinner menu. With all these positive points, is it any wonder that it is counted amongst the most popular hotels in Guindy, Chennai?
